How do you differ from a Dietician or Nutritionist?
My role as certified integrative nutrition coach and holistic chef is to support you during your transition to a healthier lifestyle. My role is not diagnose, treat or cure any illnesses or medical issues. My expertise lies in helping you to feel comfortable in the kitchen with holistic meal preparation, while also on developing intuitive eating, shedding self-limiting beliefs (which can hold you back from living the life you desire!) and embracing self-love. My clients are given the tools to make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
What if I don't know how to cook?
If you're overwhelmed with the idea of transitioning to a healthy lifestyle because you don't cook, or feel intimidated in the kitchen, I am here to help! I will give you the tools to feel comfortable cooking balanced, healthy and of course TASTY meals. This is done with a combination of counseling sessions and simple recipes to get you started.
What is included in the free 30-minute consultation?
This call will give you the opportunity to find out more about my individualized counseling sessions and see if we're a good match to work together. We will discuss your goals and what is currently working or not working in your current lifestyle. If it looks like a good fit, I will follow up with a recommendation for a program that will best suit your individual needs.
Do you offer meal plans?
Meal planning services are out of the scope of my practice HOWEVER, as my client, I give you the tools to understand how to build a balanced plate. Every person’s needs are different and as part of your first session, you will receive a food diary that will learn how to choose understand the foods that best fuel you and help you feel your most vibrant self.
What do we discuss during a session?
All programs are tailored to your specific goals. Your first session will begin with a full health history, review of a 1-week food diary and a review of your goals from the initial consultation. This helps me to get the full picture of where you have been and where you would like to go on your health journey. In the following sessions, you will learn how to make a positive shift in your thinking and develop strategies to work towards a life that includes healthy eating habits and increased confidence in the kitchen.
